In Worcester we have two different properties demonstrating the advanced high efficiency and renewable technology systems which are working to significantly reduce their energy consumption and improve their carbon footprint.
The semi detached city property has a Greenstore ground source heat pump (bore hole collector), Greenstar i system boiler and Greenskies solar panels. The garden room is fully equipped with Worcester technology to demonstrate the systems working individually or together. Other features include a rain water harvesting system and under floor heating.
The large traditional detached Victorian property in a Worcestershire village is equipped specifically for installers, specifiers and other domestic heating and hot water industry professionals with use of its own Renewable Technology Training Pavilion. The property houses a Greenstore ground source heat pump (looped and compact collector), Greenskies solar panels, Greenstar A rated oil boiler and our latest addition Greensource air source heat pump which takes energy from the air and converts it into usable heat, even when the outside temperature is as low as minus 20ºC.
