After Energy Improvements
- Greenskies solar panels
- Ground source heat pump
- Air source heat pump
- Greenstar Heatslave oil boiler
Mr & Mrs S' house has been used as a showcase for new and renewable technologies.
The first improvement has been to upgrade to a Greenstar A-rated oil boiler with Greenskies solar thermal panels. A Greenstore ground source heat pump has been in situ at house 2 for some time as Mr & Mrs S wanted to see how this new renewable technology could integrate or indeed stand alone in this situation.
The Greenstore system is now providing the majority of the family’s heating and hot water requirements. In effect, this has become a test site as two different collector methods have been used (looped and compact) and this installation site is now used by Worcester’s training team.
The most recent addition to this property is an air source heat pump which will convert the air outside into useable heat.
A FREE DVD showing the installation of the ground source heat pump is now available. To order your copy, please call our Literature Line on 01905 752556 and quote part number 8 716 112 668 or click here to order online.
